Hi, I’m Dr. Latrice Vinson
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of Bell Wellness & Mental Health. I specialize in supporting older adults, caregivers, and individuals navigating grief, chronic illness, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in evidence-based care, cultural humility, and deep respect for the life stories my clients bring into therapy. I believe healing happens in relationships and that therapy should be collaborative, practical, and attuned to your values and goals.

My Approach
My approach to therapy is supportive, practical, and grounded in evidence-based care. I use a range of therapeutic approaches—like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation—to help people work through grief, depression, anxiety, caregiving stress, and life transitions. I also draw on tools designed to support health behavior change and adjustment to chronic illness or memory concerns. I believe therapy works best when it’s tailored to your unique needs, values, and goals. Together, we’ll use evidence-based tools to help you move forward—step by step—in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.
Why Bell Wellness?
Growing up, I spent many of my childhood weekends and school breaks by my grandmother’s side—accompanying her to church, the senior center, family visits, funerals, and even as she cared for her sister living with Alzheimer’s disease. These early experiences taught me about the richness and complexity of aging: how it carries joy, grief, connection, responsibility, and transformation.
Though I sometimes say I “fell into” this specialty, the truth is that working with older adults and their families has always felt like a return to something deeply familiar—something rooted in love, experience, and legacy.
When my grandmother passed, one of the first memories that came to mind was that she taught me how to tie my shoes. At the time, it seemed simple—but in reflection, it meant everything. It was the beginning of independence, a quiet act of love, and the foundation for so many steps I would take in life. That moment stayed with me. So did she.
I named my practice Bell Wellness & Mental Health in honor of my grandmother, whose middle name was Bell. Her resilience, wisdom, and warmth are at the heart of everything I do. This practice reflects her spirit: a place where older adults and their families can feel seen, supported, and empowered—no matter what stage of life they’re in.
