Group Therapy
Connecting with others who truly understand your experience can be incredibly healing.
Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to learn from peers, share coping strategies, and build meaningful connections with people facing similar challenges. Many clients find that hearing how others navigate difficulties offers new perspectives and reduces feelings of isolation.
I offer specialized groups based on community needs and client interest. When enough people express interest in a particular topic, I form time-limited groups focused on issues that commonly affect older adults and their families. Past groups have explored topics such as:
Adjusting to retirement
Managing chronic health conditions
Caregiver stress and family dynamics
Navigating grief or major life transitions
Groups typically meet weekly for 6–8 sessions and are kept intentionally small so that every participant has the opportunity to be heard and supported.
If you're interested in group therapy—or have a topic you’d like to see offered—please reach out to discuss current availability and upcoming opportunities.
